Berkeley, Dec 10 - Funeral services were conducted today for Dr. Joseph W. Henderson, 71, osteopathic and homeopathic physician, of 1832 Capistrano avenue.

Dr. Henderson was a member of the Berkeley Rotary Club and an active worker in the Y.M.C.A., giving a fund each year to the boys' summer camp, to benefit youths who would be unable to have a vacation otherwise.

Dr. Henderson was a native of Kintore, Ontario, Canada. He was one of the first graduates of the Osteopathic School in Kirkville, Missouri, and practiced for
many years in St. Paul, Minnesota. He came to California about 35 years ago and had been living in Oakland and then Berkeley since 1966. He is survived by a widow, Mrs.
Dora Henderson, and a son, Stewart.
