April Term, A.D. 1855, Now at this day comes William A. Coffey and moves the court to appoint a guardian for the minor heirs of [blank space] to wit Mary Ann Rich Ann Rich and Nichols Rich and it appearing to the satisfaction [that crossed out] of the court that said minors are under the age of fourteen years old. It is therefore ordered that William A. Coffey be and he is appointed guardian for the said Mary Ann Rich Ann Rich and Nichols Rich with full power and authority to discharge the duties thereof according to law and that he be required to give bond in the sum of four hundred dollars. Now comes this day comes William A. Coffey and files his bond unto the state of Missouri in the sum of four hundred dollars in the faithful performance of his duties as guardian aforesaid.
