On April 3rd 2004, Marcel passed away after a short but courageous battle with cancer.
Marcel was born November 18th 1928 in Wadena, Saskatchewan. He moved to Mission, BC with his family in 1944. Marcel and Doreen were married in 1948. From there they moved to Edmonton, where he started insulating, then to Leduc, AB, working on oil rigs until 1951. From there to Prince George and Vancouver, until moving to Kamloops in 1971. They purchased the Monte Vista Motel and started Kami Insulators. Marcel retired from insulating in 1978. He was a member of the Army and Navy,Legion and Charter member of F.O.E. #3453.
Marcel will be sadly missed by his wife Barbara, sons Darrell(Joanne), and Calvin; grandson Ryan; brothers, Maurice(Evelyn),David(Dorothy); many nieces,nephews and friends.
Marcel was predeceased by his parents, his wife Doreen, four sisters, and one brother(Andy).
No Formal Ceremony by request. Donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
