Carl Leonard Stockdale, beloved husband, brother, father, and grandfather, passed away on December 16, 2013 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. He was a lifelong resident of Springfield and worked many years as a baker and cook. He always enjoyed music, and was an accomplished fiddle player and liked to make and repair instruments. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 43 years Lucinda Suzanne "Sue" Stockdale; children, Harold S. "Steve" Stockdale and family, Dallas Stockdale and family, and Carla Chambers and family. He leaves behind 9 beloved grandchildren and one on the way. He also left behind 7 brothers and sisters and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Mary Ellen, and sisters Janice Rose and Lois Messina.
