Mrs. Mary Florence Fields, a native of Hardin County, died at 7:45 PM Monday at her residence, 4152 Tuscarora Way. She was 75.
Surviving the former Mary Florence Thorpe are two daughters Mrs. Charles C. (Elizabeth) Wheatley and Mrs. Kirby (Margaret) Allen; six sons James A., Joseph T., Charles R., Howard J., Samuel F., and Roy P. Fields; sister Mrs. Nora Rodman of Elizabethtown, KY; 22 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her sons George Jr., William and husband George Washington Fields.
The funeral will be at 8:30 AM Thursday from Heady’s Southern Funeral Home, 3601 Taylor Boulevard and at 9:00 AM at SS. Simon and Jude Church. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery, Elizabethtown.
