Alvin Lange, who had been ill for about three weeks, died suddenly Friday evening at his home on the Harper Road. The rites were held Sunday in St. Peter's Episcopal Church, with the Rev. Henry Getz officiating, and interment was in the Garden of Memories, under the direction of Smiths.
Mr. Lange, a retired capalist, was a native of Galveston, and had moved to Kerrville about five years ago. During his residence in the city he had made a host of friends, who join with his family in mourning his passing.
The survivors are his wife, who resides in Kerrville; four sisters, Mrs. Olga L. Wilkins and Miss Erna L. Lange, Houston; Mrs. Anna Stafford, San Antonio and Mrs. Adele Peterson, New Orleans, La., and four brothers, Carl Lange, Erie, Pa.; Herman Lange, New York City; William G. Lange of this city and Oscar G. Lange, Galveston.
Pallbearers were Capt. Otto Nimitz, Frank Boushall, C. E. Heckler, Jr., Carl Peterson, A. G. Tuttle, J. C. Beddingfield, Alfred Petsch, Fredericksburg, and Col. Clyde Parmalee.
