Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8p.m. on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 and again on Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. until time of service.
A recitation of the Holy Rosary will at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel.
Horace J. "Buster" Clement, 93, of Alexandria passed away on December 15, 2013 in CHRITUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 67 years Martha B. Clement; his sons Larry and Mike Clement; one grandson Larry Clement Jr. and one great grandson Stephen Greene.
Buster was a Veteran of WWII, United States Army. He worked with the United States Postal Service for 38 years; retiring November 3, 1978. Buster was a charter member of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church where he served on the Usher Society. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #1134. Buster was an area football official for 30 years.
Those left to cherish his memories include his daughter Patricia Ann DeBona and her husband Sam of Pineville; his son Lance N. Clement and his wife Tracy of Alexandria; twelve grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers honored to serve will be David DeBona, Paul DeBona, David Casserly, Elena Herrington, Keith Clement and Stephen Clement.
