Christine Johnson Moore, a resident of Dallas, TX since 1940, born in Arp. (Smith CO.), TX on December 25, 1919 passed away in Dallas, TX on October 18, 2005.
She was a faithful member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church and of the church choir and active with the Homebound Ministry.
In joining Hillcrest Baptist Church in 2000, she was also a faithful member of the Friendship Class.
Christine was preceded in death by husbands: Windal C. Johnson in 1960 and James M. Moore in 2005; sons: Arthur and Bradley Johnson.
She is survived by her children: Jolette McHargue & husband Loy of Cedar Hill, TX; Ida Adams & husband Paul of Dallas, TX and Gordon Johnson of Carrollton, TX, step daughter: Dremma Throckmorton & husband Glenn of DeSoto, TX. 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sisters: Katheryn Cope of Longview, TX, Eunice Slone & husband Bayron of Longview, TX and Ida Slone of Marshall, TX.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, October 20, 2005 from 5 - 7:00 P.M.
Funeral services will be Friday, October 21, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Baptist Church. 265 W. Pleasant Run Rd. Cedar Hill, TX with Rev. Mike Simmons, officiating.
Interment will follow in Restland Memorial Park, Dallas. TX.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made either to the Hillcrest Baptist Church Building Fund or charity of choice.
