She was preceded in death by her parents, Dolphus "Doc" and Nannie Bailey; her former husband, Langford W. Sandifer; brothers, Sim Bailey, Earl Bailey and Harry Bailey; sister, Martha Gray; and niece, Lisa Estep.
Mrs. Lindsey is survived by her husband of 30 years. Ned Lindsey; daughter, Cindy Thurnau and husband, Lloyd of Longview, Texas; grandson, Stephen Medlin and wife Mandie; great-grandchildren, Cade and Alexis; her son, Byron Sandifer and wife, Anita, of Longview; granddaughter, Jerice Sandifer; grandson, Ryan Striat; brother, Harold and wife, Elease, of Plain Dealing, Louisiana; sister, Alta Faye Caldwell of Haynesville, Louisiana; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 22, 2012, at Zion Tabernacle, Highway 42, in White Oak, Texas. Visitation will be at 1:00 P.M., just prior to the service.
Her remains will be cremated by East Texas Funeral Home and intured in Lakeview Cemetery beside her former husband.
The family request memorials be made to Zion Tabernacle.
