Joseph Greer Knapp - Son of Joseph Knapp and Georgia Emma (Peace) Knapp, he served in the U.S.Army for four years in Guadalcanal. In later years, he worked as a professional photographer at Wallace Studios in Dallas and San Angelo. He spent several years at General Dynamics in Fort Worth and Boeing in Kansas as a tool and die maker. While at Boeing, he made parts for the early Apollo rockets. He had one brother, William Allen Knapp
