Signa M. Lambrecht, 76, of Merrill, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2013 at her home surrounded by family.

She was born February 7, 1936 in Merrill to the late Sig and Marie (Wyland) Stevenson. She married Robert Lambrecht in Merrill. He preceded her in death August 21, 1998.

Signa attended and was a graduate of Merrill High School. She worked in retail and restaurant service until she and her husband purchased Skipper's Restaurant, fulfilling her dream of owning and operating a restaurant of her own. Together they operated Skipper's for over 20 years. Signa was well known for her home cooking, soups and desserts. After her husband passed away, she managed the deli department at Drew's Piggly Wiggly where she carried on her tradition of home cooking and catering for special occasions. Signa was a lifelong member of our Saviour's Lutheran Church. Besides cooking, she enjoyed time with her friends and going to the casino.

Funeral Service were held at 12:00 PM Saturday, January 26, 2013 in Merrill. Rev. Maurice Schaus officiated. Entombment followed the service at Merrill Memorial Park.
