Jim Hill was a State House of Representatives in Arkansas from 1993-1996. He was later elected to the Arkansas Senate in 1996-2009. In 20003, he was elected President Pro Tem of the Arkansas Senate for the 84th General Assembly.
He attended Nashville High School, the University of Arkansas and received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Henderson State University.
