It is a very high probability that John is buried at First Burying Ground as there are many unmarked stones. (A newer stone for Mother and Father represents them in the gravestone image at this site. John is my 8th great grandfather.

John2 son of Thomas and Thomasine (Dowsett) Hale first to arrive in Mass Bay Colony 1637 aboard Ship which landed in Boston with brother Thomas. John was christened at Parish Church Watton at Stone, Hertfordshire, England 19 April 1635 and listed in church records.
Resided in Newbury and known as Sergeant John, Called a carpenter and housewright, etc.

Fifty Great Migration Colonists says he died 5 Nov 1709 (an error) as Newb. VR death has the date 2 June 1707 pg.607
