Martha Jane (Moore) Crouch Collected Hummingbirds and Turtles. Hummingbirds because I think they reminded her of the bird feeder she used to have at our home in San Carlos, California and Turtles because they reminded her of her granddaughter's childhood pet Box Turtle, Cindy, that she raised until it eventually was donated to the San Diego Zoo.
