Died 1:45 a.m. Sunday, June 30, 1991, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. She was 79, a native and resident of Baton Rouge. She was a retired East Baton Rouge Parish School Board food service manager. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., noon to 10 p.m. Monday and 10 a.m. Tuesday until religious services at 2 p.m. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by two daughters, Janice Boatner, St. Francisville, and Loyce Hood, Baton Rouge; a son and daughter-in-law, Sidney L. and Lorraine A. Adams, Baton Rouge; four sisters, Nell Goudeau, Pumpkin Center, Mrs. Benny (Rosalie) Fitzmorris, Covington, Mrs. Paul (Tillie) Tycer and Mrs. Donice (Modie) Bennett, both of Baton Rouge; a brother, James "Pete"Holden, Covington; five grandchildren, Tanya McCoy, Baton Rouge, Walter "Chip" Boatner, Conroe, Ark., Robert "Beve" Boatner, Charles "Chuck" Hood and Donald Mayeaux Jr., all of Baton Rouge; and seven great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, Henry Marvin Adams; parents, William A. and Mary Holden; three brothers, Richard, Jake and Hezzie Holden; and a sister, Jackie Tillman. She was a member of Victoria Baptist Church and Order of Eastern Star Baker Chapter.
