Dr. Roy Lynn Davis, age 62 , of Farmington, NM and formerly of Clovis, NM passed away on December 1, 2013, in Farmington, NM. He was born on December 25, 1950, to Joe Roy and Joyce (Lee) Davis in Clovis, NM. He graduated from Clovis, High School in 1969. After graduating from Eastern New Mexico University, he then went to Fullerton CA, graduating from Optometry School there. Upon graduation from Optometry School, he then went into practice in Lubbock, TX, and Clovis, NM, before going into practice with Dr. Martin Johnson in Farmington, NM, and later buying the practice which he kept for about 30 years before retiring. Roy is survived by his father, Joe Roy Davis of Clovis, NM, his sisters Donna Doolittle (Tommy) of Broadview, NM, and Karen Burns (Greg) of Clovis, NM, and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his mother Joyce Davis in 2009, and his brother Wayne Davis in 2013. Private family services will be held at a later date.
