COLUMBIA - Graveside service for Gloria Elfleda Harrelson Addy, 89, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, December 14, 2013, at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, is assisting the family.
Mrs. Addy died Tuesday, December 10, 2013. Born in Florida, she was a daughter of the late William and Mary Harrelson.
Surviving are her sons, Randy LaVerne Addy (Susan) of Chapin, Robert Leon Addy (Barbara) of Augusta, Ga.; daughter-in-law, Yin Addy of Columbia; grandchildren, Gloria Ottoway (Roger) , Terri Kester, Joni Nehls, Ashley Almughanni (Ahmed), Robin O'Dell, Caleb Addy, Andrea Addy; great-grandchildren, Becky, Lisa Samantha, Sosan, Rashid, Saoud, Rayah, Ryan, Gretchen, Jacob, Jared, Joseph, Jackson, Connor; 5 great-great grandchildren, Juma, Aaron, Zuri, Nicko and A.J.; sister, Rubye Yager of Tocoma, Wash.
She was predeceased by her husband, Leon Connor Addy; son, Terry Leroy Addy; 1 grandchild, April Addy; 1 great-grandchild, Jaylen Nehls; sister, Mary Elizabeth Price; and brother, Bill Harrelson.
