MRS. FRANK SEITZ

Many friends in the vicinity of Eau Galle, also in Menomonie, will be pained to hear of the death of Mrs. Frank Seitz of Devon, Mont.

Lettie M. Myers was born near Eau Galle in 1883 and grew to womanhood there. She received her education in the public schools and at the Dunn County Training school, from which she was graduated, and began teaching when quite young.

In September, 1905, she was united in marriage with Frank Seitz, also of the town of Eau Galle. They went to housekeeping on his farm and lived there about six years. Mr. Seitz then took a claim in Montana and rented his farm at Eau Galle, and three years ago this spring moved his family to his claim, sixteen miles from Devon, where he and his wife have enjoyed their western life.

She had often remarked how much her health seemed to improve, as she had never had good health in the East. Four children are left motherless, Roschus, aged 8 years, Neva, aged 6 years, Zelda, aged 3 years, and Ila Lucile, aged three weeks. There also survives her husband, her parents and brother Joseph of Eau Galle and her brother Arthur Myers of Stanley, who was at her bedside when she died.

On June 27 Mrs. Seitz took suddenly very ill and despite all that medical attention and loving hands could do, the kidney disease of long long standing brought on convulsions which lasted near two days and on July 1, she passed away.

Mrs. Seitz had a kindly disposition, which won true friends for her wherever she was. The funeral was held July 3 at the Hawthorn school house near her home, the funeral sermon being preached by Rev. Mr. Bebee of Galate. Interment was made in the cemetery at Devon.
