Elizabeth Rebecca Allen Beeler, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, departed this mortal existence on 9 May 1999 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Beth was born 3 November 1918 in Snowville, Utah, to George Allen and Juanita Sarah Cutler.

Married 5 October 1940 to Vernon Robert Beeler in Ogden, Utah, and sealed eternally in the Los Angeles Temple on 18 January 1958. The Beelers resided in San Diego, California from 1946 to 1992, then in Salt Lake City to the present.

Beth was a devoted handmaiden of the Lord, serving in leadership and teaching capacities throughout her life. She and her husband served missions in the Los Angeles Temple and at the Family History Library in Salt Lake City.

She is survived by husband, Vernon, and daughters, Barbara (Ronald) Adair, Nancy (Ronald) Andersen, Marsha (David) Yates, and Janice (Rory) Cartwright. Her father, mother, and only brother, Jack Cutler Allen, preceded her in death. Beth's posterity include twenty-three grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren, all who adore her.

Beth's greatest talent was loving and serving others in a very personal way, from her aging mother to the little children in her neighborhood. She left her family the legacy of Christ-like love which will endure forever.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 13, 1999 at 12:00 p.m. in the Bennion Fourth Ward Chapel, 6100 South Kamas Drive (2480 West). A viewing will be held at Cannon Mortuary, 2460 East Bengal Boulevard (7600 South), on Wednesday, May 12, 1999 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and on the day of the services at the church from 10:45-11:45 a.m.
Interment will be in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
