Mrs. Doris (Guy T.) Lucas, 615 N. Queen St., died April 27, 1977 in Anderson County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the Bailey Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Herman Millikan and the Rev. Bill Allen officiating. Burial will be in New Addition Cemetery.
Born in Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late Jim and Cordelia Adair Carpenter. She was reared in the Lone Pine community and was a member of Grace Methodist Church. She was a former employee of the Gulf Oil Corporation in Houston.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Vance Smith of Palestine and several nieces and nephews, including Mrs. Cordelia Harrison of Palestine and Nelson Allen of Houston.
