Michael Laverne Cripps, 18, son of Mr. and Mrs. Garlen Cripps, of Gladwin, died Monday evening, October 21, at Midland Hospital, where he had been a patient for 4 weeks.
Born in Merritt, June 4, 1956, he had been a resident of Gladwin most of his life and attended Gladwin schools.
Surviving are his parents, Garlen and Ula Faye Cripps of Gladwin; 2 brothers, Mark Kern of Gladwin, and Roland Cripps of Harrison; 3 sisters, Mrs. LaDora Birk of Florida, Mrs. Jacquline Isberg and Alecia Cripps, both of Missouri; grandparents, Mrs. Clarence Diem and Mr. and Mrs. William Cripps, all of Gladwin.
Services will be held Thursday at 2:00 at Hall Funeral Home, Gladwin Chapel, with Elder Donn Pendleton and Elder Earl Klement officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Gladwin County Record dated 10-23/1974
