She was united in Marriage to Charles Street 38 years ago, the 19 of last May. To this union five children were born, namely: Mrs. Pearl Nethken, Martinsville, Mrs.Bessie Clark of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Claude of Eagleville, Rolla, at home, and Opal Shelton, Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Besides the immediate family, she leaves to mourn her departure six grandchildren, three brothers, Arthur, Walter and Clarence Allen, one sister Elsie Osborn, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Many years ago she confessed her savor at Mt. Olivet and had been a member of that church since. She lived a Christian and died in the faith of her Savior.
Funeral services were held at the Christian Church in New Hampton, conducted by the Rev. O. D. Hedges. Songs were “Going down to the Valley” Sweet Bye and Bye” and “ God be with you until we meet again” The body was taken to the Logsdon Cemetery, where she was tenderly laid away near her father and mother. Her husband and children have sympathy of the entire community.
