Howard, son of Isaac and Susanna Robey Morrison, was born near Senecaville, June 27, 1889, and departed this life February 11, 1947, aged 57 years, seven months, and 15 days.

In 1915, he was united in marriage to Leota Vandyne, and to this union was born six children. Together with the wife, three children survive, Mrs. Robert Boyd, of Zanesville, Boyd and Nadene, of the home. A son, Isaac, and twin daughters, Renns Elaine and Rama Eilene, died in 1935.

He also leaves one grandson, Jackie Boyd, and the following brothers and sisters; Luard Morrison, Cambridge; Oather Morrison, Senecaville route; Mrs. Pauline Sayer, Cambridge; and Mrs. Clarice Hayes, New Concord.

A step-mother, Mrs. Maggie Morrison, step-sister, Mrs. Anna Morgan, both of Alliance; a step-brother, Elmer Bond, of Senecaville route, and several nieces, nephews and friends also remaine to mourn the passing.

Howard was a kind husband and a good neighbor. He was always ready and willing to do his share, and more. For the past several years he has been engaged in the trucking business and operating a school bus. For the past several months poor health has not permitted him to carry on his work. He was a very efficient school bus operator and has been, and will be greatly missed by the school children.

During his sickness, he bore his suffering with patience.
Peacefully sleeping, resting at last,
World's weary troubles and trials are past.
In silence he suffered,
In patience he bore,
"Til God called him home
To suffer no more.

Funeral services were held at the Renrock Methodist church, Friday at 2:00 o'clock p.m. with Rev. Clair Gray, of Chandlersville, officiating. The Bundy funeral home had charge and interment was made in the church cemetery.
