AIKEN, S.C. - Raymond Singletary Harvey, 82, died Dec. 19, at the Medical College of Georgia. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 Sunday at Aiken First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Fred W. Andrea, III officiating with Military Honors. Interment will be private at Aiken Memorial Gardens.

He was born in Jakin, GA to the late Thomas Grady and Edith Singletary Harvey. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II, graduate of Emory University, and retired from EI Dupont, SRP as a Staff Biologist.

Survivors include his loving wife, Genie Pascal Harvey and beloved father of Nancy Harvey Holmes, Johnston, Jan (Rob) Bromley, Aiken and Raye (Donald) Gaddy, Hoover, AL. Other survivors include grandchildren, Brannon (Andy) McComb, Valarie Holmes, Evan Bromley, Collin Bromley, Jeff (Tara) Gaddy, and Jaclyn Gaddy.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Aiken First Baptist Church, P.O.Box 3157, Aiken, SC 29802. The family will receive friends following the service in the Church Parlor. Shellhouse Funeral Home, 924 Hayne Ave., Aiken, SC.
