Marion was the only daughter of Bennie Lee and Willie E. Wilson Lambert. She married Paul Elmer Gowan (1916-1972) in 1945 and had two daughters, Janet Lynne (1946-2002) and Joan Leslie (1947-2012). She is survived by one grandson, Paul Aaron Gowan .
