Donal Hogan was born in West Jordan, Utah to Charles Eric and Ada Francis Hogan. On June 26, 1945, he married Mable Peterson in Alexandria, Louisiana.

He is survived by his children, Patricia (John) Reeve, daughter-in-law, Susan (Paul) Hogan and Philip (Jayel) Hogan, eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, his son, Paul, his parents and all eight siblings.

He flew the B-17 and B-24 bombers in World War II completing 35 missions mostly over Germany. He was awarded several medals and awards.
