Waneta "Neet" Bernand, 86 of Phoenix, passed away on April 25, 2008. Waneta moved from Kansas City, MO to Phoenix in 1956 where she was employed by Motorola. Until recent years, she was an avid golfer. Waneta was a great lover of all animals, especially dogs. She was a very special person who will be missed by all whose lives she touched. Waneta is survived by her loving family Jan Ross, Kim & Brent James, Chris, Zach, Megan and Anthony James, Cupcake and Toby. Funeral Mass will be at 10 am on Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 4715 N. Central Ave. Arrangements by Hansen Mortuary. .
