She was born April 24, 1935 in Milo, North Dakota, to Levi and Ida (Schweitert) Shetler.
In January 1958 she married Eldon "Flick" Peachey. They divorced and she later married Freeman Eash in 1987. He died later that year.
She is survived by two daughters: Brenda (Jack) Watson of Bristol, and Sally (Greg) Carpenter of Goshen; two sons, Stan (Jan) Peachey of Elkhart and Doug Peachey of Alabama; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; five sisters, Miriam Bontrager of Wolcottville, Lucy Yoder of Wyoming, Jean (Elva) Mast and Freeda Huser, both of Goshen, and Esther (Floyd) Stoltzfus of Terry Hill, Pennsylvania; nine brothers, Leroy, Kansas City, Missosuri, Mervin (Marilyn), Seattle, Washington, Jacob (Rosa) of Millersburg, Mel (Edna) of Goshen, Dean (Bethany) of Kalona, Iowa, Ora (Marilyn) of Kidron, Ohio, Joe (Ellen) of Milford, Alva of Goshen and Lester (Carol) Shetler of Shipshewana.
She was preceded in death by a son, Eldon Dale Peachey and two brothers, John Edwin and Alvin Shetler.
A longtime area resident, Mrs. Eash was a cook at both the Goshen Moose Lodge and County Seat Cafe. She was a member of the Goshen D.A.V. Women's Auxiliary.
