Mrs. Velma Ruth Munsinger, age 83, of Palestine passed away Friday, March 11, 2016 in the Palestine Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Munsinger was born May 7, 1932 in Grapeland to Robert F. Hale and Tallie Mae Peavy Hale. She was a member of the Congregational Methodist Church.
She is preceded in death by husband, Elvin Munsinger, Jr.; daughter, Velma Ann Wolf; sons, E. J. Munsinger and Robert E. Munsinger; sisters and brother, Gertrude Brown, Lula Gibson, John Hale, Helen Hale, Cecil Hale, Vera Strban and Rosie Selman.
Funeral services for Mrs. Velma Ruth Munsinger will be held Monday, March 14, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Dennis Ivey officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories.
