She was born June 6, 1922, in West Frankfort to Joseph and Maria (Spagnoli) Tedeschi. She married Patrick Hart in 1946, and he preceded her in death Jan. 4, 1988.
Survivors include her sister, Ida and (Randall) Mosley of Cape Girardeau; nieces and nephews, Laura Beth White of Mount Vernon, Marilyn Wood of Grapevine, Texas, Carol White of Arena, Wis., Tedra Gee of Paris, Tenn., Madison Mosley of Cape Girardeau, Maria Smith of Puxico, Mo., and Joseph Mosley of Scott City, Mo.; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Patrick Hart; and three brothers, John, Bob and Pete Tedeschi.
Mrs. Hart owned and operated the West Frankfort Dollar Store for 12 years. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in West Frankfort.
She also was very artistic, having won numerous awards for her paintings.
A funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, in St. John's Catholic Church in West Frankfort. Burial will be in St. John's Catholic Cemetery in West Frankfort. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, at Parker-Reedy Funeral Home in West Frankfort. A Rosary will be recited at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Catholic School in West Frankfort and will be accepted at the funeral home.
