M/Sgt. David Allen Benoy U.S. Air Force, Retired, passed away on December 1, 2013 at the age of 73. He was born on September 2, 1940 in Hudson, WI to Alton and Dolores Rose Benoy. David was preceded in death by his parents; survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Ingrid Rittel Benoy; son, Steve Benoy; daughter, Brenda Hernandez, and husband Nick; brothers, Tom Benoy, Larry Benoy, his wife Jean, Dennis Benoy, his wife Sandra, Robert Benoy, his wife Diana and Jeff Benoy, his wife Terry; grandchildren, Hilary Hernandez, Aron Benoy and Rebeka Benoy; and great-grandson, Hudson Hernandez; and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2013 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at Colonial Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Monday, December 9, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at Colonial Funeral Home, as well. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with full military honors. In lieu of flowers please make any donations to the Special Olympics at www.specialolympics.org.
