Michael E. Bivins, 51, died Monday in Panorama City. He was born November 4, 1946, in Altadena and resided in Saugus, where he had lived since 1975. He graduated from Burroughs High School in Burbank and graduated from Brigham Young University in 1971 with a degree in political science and economics. He worked as an insurance broker and received several awards from Farmers Insurance Company.
He is survived by his wife, Annemarie Bivins of Saugus; his mother, Joyce Bivins of San Pedro; two sons, Michael L. Bivins and Randall Bivins and two daughters, Andrea M. Bivins and Angela J. Bivins, all of Saugus; one sister, Michelle Bivins, of Seattle.
Viewing is scheduled at 10:15 a.m. Friday in the Relief Society Room of The Church of Jesus Christ, Latter-day Saints in Saugus. Services are scheduled at 11 a.m. Arrangements are being handled by Chapel of the Canyon Mortuary.
