Joe Boone, 92, of Cloverport died Saturday, December 4, 1993, at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital in Hardinsburg. He was born in Daviess County, retired from American Olean Tile Co. and was a member of Cloverport Baptist Church. He was a son of Jim & Mary Goatee Boone. Survivors include 5 sons, Raymond, Larry & Robert Boone, all of Cloverport, and Roy & Bill Boone, both of Elizabethtown; 4 daughters, Sue Lieggi of Elizabethtown, Shirley Boone and Rose Waddell, both of Cloverport, and Debbie Shell of Lewisport; 15 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Robert Boone of Owensboro. Services are at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Wallace Funeral Home, Cloverport. Burial in Cloverport Cemetery. Visitation after 4:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
