The funeral of Angus Chisholm was held this morning from the Catholic church at 9 o'clock, Rev. Philippe officiating. Interment was made in Holy Cross cemetery. Mr. Chisholm, whose home was near Blackduck, was shot and fatally injured two months ago by seven hunters, when he was mistaken for a deer. He had been in St. Anthony's hospital since the accident happened, and his wife had been at the bedside.
Mr. Chisholm died yesterday morning at 10 o'clock. His brother, John Chisholm, of Crow Wing, arrived in the city shortly before he died, and a sister, Mrs. Martha Leighton, of Elk River arrived for the funeral. (Bemidji Pioneer, Jan 18, 1917)
