Sadie Louise Scrivner, 81, went home to be with Jesus on December 1, 2013. Sadie was born June 13, 1932, in Paris, Ark., and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother devoted to her family and her faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene; son, Joseph Foster, Jr.; parents; two brothers. Survivors include children, James Scrivner (Debbie), Patricia Lendermon (Steve) and Tina Palcher (Dennis); seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; six siblings. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, at Chapel of Memories Funeral Home, 30000 Valor Drive, Grain Valley, Mo., with a visitation at 2 p.m. She will be laid to rest in Swan Lake Memorial Park, Grain Valley.
