Mrs. Della PONTIUS went to Marion, Ind., Tuesday evening, where she was summoned on the account of the death of her brother-in-law, George ERWIN, 57. Mr. Erwin passed away in a Marion hospital at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday. He had been in ill health for the past few weeks it was stated.
The deceased who was engaged in the restaurant business in Marion, had a wide acquaintance of friends in this community, he having visited friends and relatives here, on numerous occasions. Mr. Erwin's wife was formerly Myrtle DAVIS, of near this city.
The survivors are his wife and three daughters, all of Marion, Ind.
Funeral services will be held at the Marion Baptist Church Friday afternoon, two o'clock. Burial will be made in the Marion cemetery.
