DELHI (Special) — Funeral services for Mrs. Gertrude H. McGuire, 72, of Delhi, were scheduled to be in Lamar Baptist Church at 10 a.m. today with the Rev. Pat Lofton officiating, assisted by Rev. Adams.

She was the mother of Mrs. Gertrude Napper of Monroe.

Burial was to be in Delhi Masonic Cemetery under direction of Gay's Funeral Home of Delhi.

Mrs. McGuire died Tuesday night in a Monroe hospital after an illness of three weeks.

Survivors include her husband, J. E. McGuire Sr., Delhi; four other daughters, Mrs. Wilson Stephens, Mrs. Jessie Faye Baucum, Miss Lucille McGuire and Mrs. Edith Farley, all of Delhi; four sons, Jeff McGuire, Delhi and Homer McGuire and John E. McGuire Jr., both of Marshal, Tex., and James McGuire, Longview; three brothers, R. L. Holmes, Ruston, the Rev. W. H. Holmes and Jim Langley, both of El Dorado, Ark.; five sisters, Mrs. B. L. Callahan and Mrs. Mary Lou Tibbett, both of Ruston, Mrs. Rube Thompson, Borger, Tex.; Mrs. George Thompson, Calumette, Ill. and Mrs. Allie Adams, Shreveport; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were to be Fred Radau, Ernest Ogden, Talmadge Blake, Jim Bullock, Willie Longino and Vaughn Thornton.
