A very pretty home wedding occurred at the residence of Mrs: J. H. Golder on Webster street, Lewiston, Wednesday afternoon. at. 2 o'clock.

The contracting parties were Miss Leone M. Golder-of that city and Dr. James H. Goddard of Brunswick.

Rev. Dr. Martyn Summerbell of the Main street Free Baptist church performed the ceremony. The house was beautifully decorated with out flowers and potted plants.

The bridal couple was preceded in their entrance to the room by the maid of honor, little Miss Gwendolyn Stanley. The bride wore a costume of white silk and carried a boquet of white roses. The happy couple left on the afternoon train for Montreal, and after a short wedding tour will reside in Brunswick, where Dr. Goddard is held in high esteem and has a large practice as a veterinary surgeon.

The bride is the daughter of one of the old families of Lewiston and has a large circle of friends. The presents were both numerous and beautiful.

The INDEPENDENT bestows its parental blessing for luck.
