Allen Dale Armintrout, age 69, passed away at his home in Moline on December 1, 2013. Allen was the beloved son of Dale Armintrout and Wanetta (Frank) Armintrout. He was much loved by his grandparents, Lemuel and Darlene Armintrout and Alton and Gertrude Frank. Allen was the Lord's blessing to us and deeply enriched our lives. He lived in Moline most of his life, was a member of the Moline Baptist Church and in later years of the Heritage Baptist Church. Allen was much involved in the ministry of the deaf at Heritage Baptist Church, as well as active in the deaf community. He was also on the board of Paws With a Cause for 20 years. Allen was a graduate of Wayland High School and of Grand Rapids Baptist College (Cornerstone). He was employed by the State of Michigan, Allegan County Department of Human Resources for 34 years, until his retirement.

Allen is survived by his mother, Wanetta Armintrout, who loved him so very deeply and will greatly miss him. He was preceded in death by his beloved father, Dale Armintrout. Other survivors include his aunt Dawn Booher; his cousins, David and Nancy Armintrout and their children, Andrea, Zac (Christine), Paul, Tessa, Sam, Will, Ireland, Diana (Rick) Lloyd, Paula (Vern) Trinosky; Linda Knight and her daughter, Stephanie; Walter Frank and Robert Frank. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his uncle, Dale Frank, his cousins, Jim Booher and Barbara Ochampaugh.

A time for relatives and friends to visit with Allen's family will be held from 1-4 and 6-8 PM Thursday, December 5, at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Services in Dorr, 4330 18th Street. A service celebrating his life will be 11 AM Friday at Moline Baptist Church, with Pastor Stan Veldt and Pastor Shane VandeVrede officiating.

Interment will be at Dorr Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services, Moline Baptist Church or the Heritage Baptist Church.
