Edward J. Fitzpatrick, 89, of Southampton, Pa., died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2004, in Twinning Village, Pa.
Born in Adams, Mass., he was a resident of Southampton for 33 years before moving to Twinning Village in Holland, Pa.
He was formerly employed for 27 years at F.J. Stokes Co., Philadelphia. Pa., and after his retirement he was a senior consultant for IESC.
He was a member of the Society of Plastic Industry, Society of Plastic Engineers and the Plastic Pioneers. He was also on the founding board of directors of the Upper Moreland Swim Club and was a member.
He was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Southampton, Pa., where he was also a member of the Senior Citizens Group and a member of the St. Bede's Seniors Group.
His wife, Elizabeth A. "Betty" (Battersby) Fitzpatrick, is deceased.
He leaves three sons and daughters-in-law, E. James and Carol Fitzpatrick of Shrewsbury, Mass., Raymond F. and Candice Fitzpatrick of Plano, Texas, and David and Chris Fitzpatrick of Hatboro, Pa.; a daughter, Mary Fitzpatrick of Horsham, Pa.; a brother, William Fitzpatrick, and his wife, Margaret, of Little Chute, Wisc.; a sister, Katherine Giza, and her husband, Stanely, of Palmer, Mass.; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Funeral Mass for Edward Fitzpatrick will be held Monday, Nov. 15, 10 a.m., in Our Lady of Good Counselo Church, Southampton, Pa. Burial will be Tuesday, Nov. 16, 11 a.m., in Southview Cemetery, North Adams, Mass.
Calling hours are Monday, 8:30-9:30 a.m., at the James J. McGhee Funeral Home, 2nd St. Park and Belmont Ave., Southampton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to OLGC Senior Citizens Group, 611 Knowles Ave., Southampton, PA.
