Surviving are his wife, Eloisa, six sons, Gilbert, Pete, Jesse, Bobby, Johnny, and Julio Garza Jr. Five daughters, Elma Ann, Sandra, Nelda, Laura, and Brenda Garza. One brother, Sammy Garza, and two sisters, Guadalupe Balderas and Oralia Garcia, all of Corpus Christi, Texas.
A Rosary was recited at 6pm Monday at the Angelus Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
