Isaac Slaughter, died Wednesday morning at the Grant County Hospital from injuries received Tuesday when he was stuck by a C. & O. train at Twenty-seventh and South Nebraska streets. Death was caused by a concussion to the brain. Mr. Slaughter was about fifty-five years of age and has been a respected resident of Marion for many years.
Survivors were his widow and four children, two married and two at home; and three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Reploge, of Monticello, Ind., Mrs. Macilla Moore, of Summitville, and Mrs. Mina Scott of Marion.
