Annis "JoAnn" Lilly, 83, of Beckley, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 27, 2013.
JoAnn was born October 24, 1930, at Artie, WV, to the late Jiles and Lula Stover Williams.
She loved going to church and was a member of the Workman's Creek Methodist Church, socializing with her friends, and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Lilly; two sons, Everett Lilly, Jr., and Jiles Lilly; and a stepson, Tennis Lilly.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Dianne Tomah and husband, Dennis, of Princeton, Maine; daughter, Laverne Wheeler and husband, Brian, of Beaver; daughter, Karen Lilly of Beckley; son, Mark Lilly and wife, Donna, of Midway; son, Daniel Lilly and wife, Sandy, of Beckley; 24 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; stepson, Everett Allen Lilly and wife, Karen, of Beckley; stepdaughter, Ann Stetler of Beckley; a brother, Olan Williams; 3 sisters, Reba Harris, Maxi Pettrey, and Sarah Taylor; several nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
Services to celebrate the life of JoAnn Lilly will be held 2 p.m. Monday, December 2, 2013, at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley, with Rev. Sam Williams, Rev. Hank Williams, and Rev. Sandra Taylor officiating. Following the services JoAnn will be laid to rest at the Workman's Creek Cemetery, Workman's Creek.
Friends may gather with the family from 1 p.m. until time of the service Monday at the funeral home.
