Bozeman, Mont.--Colonel Oliver P. Chisholm, one of Montana's best known men, a miner, a lawyer and veteran of the civil war, died here on the morning of the 26th after an extended illness.

Colonel Chisholm was born in Hazel Green, Grant County, Wisconsin, and was just past 69 years of age at his death. He was the son of Robert B. Chisholm, the owner of the famous Emma mine in Utah. He is survived by four of his seven children, Charles B., Robert B., Oliver Perry, and Sarah Alice Chisholm.


Son Robert B. born on Mar.2,1880 and died on June 11,1958 in Long Beach, CA. Place of burial unknown.

Daughter Sarah Alice born on Jan. 15, 1889 and died on Dec. 25,1965 in Los Angeles, CA. Place of burial unknown.
