Mr. Johnny Adams, age 68, of Pearsons Chapel, passed away Friday, November 29, 2013 in the Hospice in the Pines Inpatient Unit in Lufkin. He was born November 21, 1945 in Weldon and had lived in Pearsons Chapel all of his lifetime. Mr. Adams had worked for Texas Department of Criminal Justice for 40 years and was a practicing Christian.
Preceded in death by parents, Buford and Josephine Adams; and brother, Gene Adams.
Funeral services for Mr. Johnny Adams will be held Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Tony Wolfe officiating. Interment will follow in the Lovelady Antioch Cemetery. Family will receive friends Tuesday beginning at 12 noon until service time.
