Jane A. Ebert, 81, of Sioux City died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2004, at Westwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Cathedral of the Epiphany, with the Very Rev. Paul-Louis Arts officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m. and a vigil service at 7 p.m., at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.

Jane was born Oct. 24, 1923, in Dunlap, Iowa, to Henry W. and Theresa (Manion) Ebert. She was a lifelong Sioux City resident. She worked as a secretary at Marian Health Center for 19 years, retiring in 1988.

She was a member of Cathedral of the Epiphany and the Stockettes.

She is survived by a niece, Farajean Colbert and her children and grandchildren, DJ, Mary, Ritch, Emma and Noah; a brother-in-law, Charley Simon; a nephew, Joe Simon; and by great-nieces and great-nephews, Sandy, Nancy, Linda, Mickey, Rick, Peggy, Rob, Jody, Joey and Bridgette.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Robert; a sister, Phyllis; a nephew, Terry Ebert; and a niece, Barbara Prochello.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Siouxland.
