Todd Philip Rothrock, the son of Levi and Laura Shuck Rothrock, was born June 2, 1903 at Casey, la. He was educated in Casey Public Schools and was a graduate of Iowa State University, College of Veterinary Medicine in 1934.
He was united in marriage to Velma Smith at Casey, Iowa on July 25,1928. The couple lived in Ames, la. and then he became employed as a veterinarian in Clamar, la; Mayfield, and Morganfield, Kentucky, Williamsport, Perm, and then had lived in Peterson, la. since 1944. He retired from the U.S.D.A. in 1967.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Peterson and the American Veterinary Medical Asso. He served on the Peterson School Board for 2 terms.
He passed away suddenly at his home in Peterson on Jan. 3, 1976.
Preceding him in death were his parents and one brother.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Velma, four sons, Todd, Gary and Jack all of Roanoke, Vir. and Terry of Oxnard, Cal; 10 grandchildren, one sister Mrs. Stella Baker and one niece Kathleen Baker both of Casey, la.as well as other relatives and friends.
