Rev. Obie L. Scott, age 82, of Greensboro, AL died Nov. 16, 2012, at Hale County Hospital. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Mt. Tabor Methodist Church in Marion with Rev. Ivey Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Tabor Cemetery with Lee & Rollins Funeral Home of Marion directing. Visitation will be tonight from 5 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home. The body will lie in state one hour prior to services at the church.
