Myrline Wood, age 81, of Atlanta, Texas, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, November 26, 2013, in a Texarkana, Texas hospital.
Myrline was born January 10, 1932, in Doddridge, Arkansas, to Artice and Ethel Dunlap Bowlin. She was the retired owner of Wood Flowers and Gifts; a member of Atlanta, Church of Christ; past member of the Eastern Star and Theos. She was preceded in death by her husband James Wood; a son, Don Wood; daughter, Linda Wood; and her parents.
She is survived by two sons, J. C. Wood and wife Cathy of Bedford, Texas, Larry Wood and wife Suzanne of Las Vegas, Nevada; one daughter, Marcelle Yates of Atlanta, Texas; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
