Edith Mae Ellison "Mommy Edie," 81, of Hamilton, died June 24 at Ft. Hamilton Hospital.
Mrs. Ellison was born March 10, 1920 in Chattanooga, TN, to the late James and Della Mae Dillard Sr. She attended the Hamilton Christian Center.
In 1955 she married Bill Ellison who preceded her in death in 1983. She was also preceded in death by son, Lynn Steven Ellison in 1991; sister, Lillian Gray; brother, James Raymond Dillard Jr.; sister-in-law, Dorothy Dillard; and stepson, Leonard LeRoy Kellerhals.
She is survived by daughter, Billie (Kellerhals) and her husband Verlyn Peters of West Chester; son, James Perriman of Cape Coral, FL; two stepdaughters, Margaret Ann "Peggy" Lantis of Winter Haven, FL, and Alba Jenell Davis of Middletown; eight grandchildren, David (Charlene) Peters of West Chester, Karen (Loren) Lanham of Ross, Bill Parriman of Cape Coral, L, Jessie Lynn Parriman of Whitley City, KY, Lynn Steven Ellison Jr. of Knoxville, TN, Tessa Jo Ellison of Redman, WA, and Stephanie and Stacey Roberts of Trenton; two great-granddaughters, Amanda and Morgan Lanham; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at the Brown Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 27 with the Rev. Larry Bailey, associate pastor of the Hamilton Christian Center, officiating.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m.
A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at A. R. Dyche Memorial Park in London, KY
